The Journey So Far..

Out over the horizon somewhere

The sun's taking his bow..

Resting in the dark

After a long shining show..

Twilight in my life

As happiness seems to set

A long, long night comes through

As I succumb to fate..

I wonder in the silence

As the walls darken around me

The sun will shine through again

And life will turn around, surely?

The script's been written cruelly

Of the show that's life

Joys lighten up all the dark corners

Till tears cut through them like a knife..

Of all the roads life takes,

Some go in a direction all wrong

Yet, there must be a turning ahead

In that hope, I keep holding on..
